In our bureau we record individual animal production and health data, provided by our clients using a duplicated Interherd Diary, this information is then used to provide client action lists:
Vet Lists
Herdsman Lists
Cows to Serve
PD Lists
Drying Off Lists
Calving Lists
Herd Fertility Summary
It is a flexible system, which can be tailored around the farmer’s requirements.
We are also able to offer a service for:
Medicine Records where drug batch numbers and expiry dates are recorded, giving accurate milk and meat with-drawl periods. We can provide Drug costing, Drug purchase reports and Monthly analysis reports. All our Medicine reports meet Farm Assurance requirements.
Movement Records and Calf Passport Applications, which are done electronically through BCMS. Data need only be recorded once in the Interherd Diary, which we provide; saving farmers valuable time.
Milk Recording – we offer the provision of milk recording lists and sample pots for DIY milk sampling. Samples can be delivered by hand or by Courier to our local Lab for Somatic Cell Counts and Weights. We are also able to download and import NMR milk recording data and CIS data for analysis on Interherd. We monitor closely, monthly Somatic Cell Counts results, which is instrumental in identifying mastitis trends.
Interherd allows our Vets access to a large amount of data for herds to improve performance, profits and animal welfare
The emphasis within the Dairy Industry today is on efficient Record Keeping and the efficient use of the data recorded. Our Vets use Interherd and NMR Herd Companion extensively for analysis, helping to identify problems and trends with Fertility, Mastitis, Lameness and Disease. We have also developed our own Benchmarking system through Herd Companion, to monitor local NMR recording farms, to gauge performance and to aim for realistic targets for improvement.
